Mövenpick Al Bida’a has been awarded the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Certificate in three consecutive years 2010, 2011 and 2012 to prove its commitment to food safety, once again.
HACCP is a systematic preventive approach to food safety. The process includes physical, chemical, and biological hazards identification and rectification as a means of prevention in receiving and storage to preparation and serving food.
The HACCP certification process takes approximately six to twelve months. The preparation for HACCP certification at the Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Al Bida’a Kuwait was initiated in May 2008. The hotel was first certified in April 2009. Surveillance audit took place in July 2011 to confirm that the hotel is committed to the HACCP Codex by ensuring a well maintained system.
